1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RiskScope ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RiskScope is a scam detection platform that provides risk assessments for websites, mobile apps, and desktop software by aggregating data from multiple threat intelligence sources. The Service is available via a web interface and a REST API.

3. API Usage

API access is governed by your subscription tier (Free, Pro, Business, or Enterprise). Each tier has specific rate limits and monthly lookup quotas as described on our pricing page.

You agree not to:

  • Exceed your tier's rate limits through circumvention
  • Share, resell, or redistribute your API key
  • Use the API to build a competing service
  • Submit automated queries designed to scrape or replicate our database
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Pro and Business plans. Contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund.

5. Accuracy and Disclaimers

RiskScope provides risk assessments based on available threat intelligence data. We do not guarantee that our assessments are complete, accurate, or up to date.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. A low risk score does not guarantee a website or app is safe. A high risk score does not constitute a definitive determination of fraud. Always exercise your own judgment.

6. User Reports

By submitting a scam report, you represent that the information you provide is truthful to the best of your knowledge. Submitting false or malicious reports may result in termination of your access to the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiskScope and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on our risk assessments.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or abuse of the platform. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
